Government is where the society makes and enforces its policies. Both public and private. The government must have power to enforce and carry out their public Policies. Every government has three kinds of power:
Legislative power
Executive power
Judicial power
Legislative power is the power to make law and to frame public policies.
Executive power allows the power to execute, enforce, and to apply laws.
The Judicial power interprets laws to choose their meaning , and to settle disputes that come within the society. The main resposibility may be held by a single person or by a small group of people, as in a dictatorship. People can not hold the government responsible for their actions. When the power rests within the peoples hands it is then called a democracy.
