Coneflower, a sun loving perennial, used in spells for added strength and protection.
Iris, a sun loving perennial. Magickal uses; wisdom, communication and faith. In the language of flowers it symbolizes "messages".
Clematis- variety 'Nelly Moser'. This clematis grows up to 6 feet in height and blooms in the spring. To obtain the best results with a clematis keep the base of the plant in the shade, while the rest of the vine grows to the sun.
Black Iris- This variety is called "Before the Storm". The iris was named after the Greek Goddess of the rainbow. Also shown in this photo are: coral bells- variety 'purple palace', Hydrangea, valerian, and a tall ostrich fern.
Fern, a shady perennial. Magickal uses; Faery magick, fascination, protection, and invisibility. Many varieties are available. (Pictured a Japanese painted fern)
Secret Garden. Pictured Pink geraniums (Perlagoniums ssp.) in the urn. In the background next top the "Herbs" sign is the herb Angelica. (Angelica archangelica) Angelica, will reach up to 6 feet in height, and may be worked into charms for protection.

Ivy, a shade loving climbing perennial vine.
Magickal uses; Ivy is a protective plant, and
promotes fidelity, goodluck, and faithfullness.
Rose, (Rosa ssp.) Magickal uses; love, and
the petals are used in spells to "speed things up."
A pink rose symbolizes, innocent love,
beauty, and friendships. Pictured is the

Blue Pansies (Viola) and white snapdragons. An enchanting Spring 2005 container.
Petunia, annual, sun loving flower. White
petunias are inexpensive and easy to grow.
They will work well in moonlight gardens.
Add them into full moon rituals or, spells
that call upon a moon goddess.
Salvia, a sun loving, ornamental ,perennial. The salvia, being blue, is sacred to Venus/ Aphrodite and can be worked into spells and charms to promote peace and a happy home. In the language of flowers blue salvia says, "I think of you!"
A Shady Faery Garden, Pictured plants include, bleeding hearts (cure broken hearts), hosta (symbolizes devotion), lily of the valley (lifts your spirits), and lady's mantle blossoms ( for love and attraction).
Yellow Foxglove (Grandiflora) A perennial foxglove that does beautifully in the Mid-west. Dainty and a lovely soft color. A faery garden plant
Foxglove, (Digitalis purpurea) A part sun/part shade biennial. Magickal uses, faery magick, and protection. Foxglove is toxic and should not be ingested.
