The Most Powerful Tool In Magick

The truth is that once you tune yourself into the natural world, and begin to recognize the subtle energy of nature, magickal energy can be found all around you. For those who are interested in the Craft, natural magick is a respectable way to start your studies. So let's warm up the single most important tool that is ever used in Witchcraft. Can you guess what that tool might be? That very important tool is your mind.
Before you begin to perform any magicks, we must first understand what natural magick truly is. Magick is the art and science of effecting positive change in your life. You may attain this change by your will or desire to make these personal improvements and by working in harmony with nature. The only way you can really change your life is to change yourself. So, then, with natural magick, you will work on becoming and improved and healthier person, as well as a strong, kind and wise Witch. If you are looking to change your life for the better, natural magick could be a good place for you to begin.

The Basics of Natural Magick;

Working with the Four Elements

Each of the four magickal elements harmonizes to a different direction, a time of day, a season, a traditional magickal color and optional Witch's tool. When working with natural magick, you are attempting to bring together natural items to help unify and tie your spellwork together. So if you wanted an earthy representation for each of the four elements, you could experiment with these items: a feather for the element of air, a candle flame or lava rock to represent fire, a seashell to symbolize water, and a crystal or a live plant for the element of earth. Each of these suggested items is a natural embodiment of an individual magickal element. They each coordinate with their specific element, their magickal energies flow nicely, and they work in unity together.
