| Bongko's father pulled both her and her brother out of Chiangmai Academy. I believe that the family needed them to help in the farm. Bong Ko now studies in the local village school. She continues to be sponsored under the EOP sponsorship program. |

| My name is Bong Ko.� I am twelve years old.� I am studying in grade 3.� I have one brother and two sisters.� My father's name is Lay May and my mother's name is Ku Paw.� They are farmers.� Our family monthly income is 2500 Bahts. After my father became a Christian, he came to know about Chiangmai Adventist Academy and he wanted us to study in the Christian school so that we will receive Christian Education.�But he cannot afford to send us to study �there. When our pastor in the village asked Pr. Phamor to help us, he agreed. Since last year (2003), we had come to Chiangmai Academy and study there.� We hope that we will receive help for this year, so that we can continue our education in the academy.� - Mar 2004. |
