| Descriptions | The member of an account team who is responsible for the management
and strategic directions of cleint accounts by bringing an insight into
the attitudes and reactions of consumers. Implementing a disciplined
and systematic approach to the creation of advertisements.

| Typical Work Activities | Studying cleint brief. Analyzing existing data and commissionaing
more resarch if necessary, in order to create a compelling strategy.
Briefing the creative team. Analyzing and interpreting customer response
in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign. Working with
other memebers of the agency team, the client's researchers and department
ans suppliers.

| Entry requirements and Tips | Graduate Degrees in Business/Management, Media Studies. Evidence
of organizational ability, lateral/logical thinking and numeracy are all
important, as well as having a passion for advertising.
Pre-entry experience is desirable especially in advertising, marketing, or market research. |
| Training | Training takes place mainly on the job. Time may be spent gaining
experience and insight into agency work before taking aon a client portfolio.

| Working Conditions | Informal office atmostphere, with a predominantly young staff.
Work can be very stressful. Work hours include regular extra hours
but not weekends or shifts. Visiting clients as a regular feature
of the job with extended working hours. Smart dress.
