| Employment as an account planner will require
you to take fundamental steps in insuring your step in the door and take
a stand in your career search. The first thing to be aware of is
preparation. Preparation is where the fine line is drawn between
having a descent job and having one with perks, such as a company car.
You are going to need a degree for this lower to higher level management
position. Account Planning positions are only available in an advertising
agency. A standard requirement is to have some passion for the field
of advertising. Available Positions are rarely advertised and are
usually very competitive. A creative resume and portfolio is a good
asset to any individual pursuing a career in the advertising industry.
