Old Messages What I said before, but don't pick me up on this…

It has been a long time I haven't updated my home page.

I just disappear in all the newsgroups, really put down most of my net activities, and concentrate in...photography. Since I become the Studio Manager in the UBC PhotoSociety, there are so many duties to do. I finally understand how demanding of the society works. But what makes me run out of time is not the work load, it is all because of photography. I meet many people in the Photosoc, they have very good skills and knowledge of photography, and I learned a lot from them. So I try new things, and have lots of chances to brain storm my ideas. In addition, I being too addictive to the medium format (shot and printing)in this year, and that used up all my time other than study (not much anyway). So updating HP become something at the end of my "to-do" list.

And, I'm leaving Vancouver in this summer.

Finally, it's the time for me to go. I learned so much in Vancouver. I love the air, sushine, and beautiful scenery here. They provide the nutrients for the growth of my photography senses. I also have chance to intensively use the darkroom and other facilities to strengthen my skill. At last, many good friends here, teach me knowledge that no school can provide. Namely, Peter, Robert, Kevin, Arnold, Brian,... Without them, I would not know as much as now. thank you very much.

I finally use the Dreamweaver again. The result is just what you see in the content page. I hope everyone will like it. I'll eventually chage the whole layout and structure of my homepage. Let's move on and see!

June is really a good month for photography.

June 4th Demonstration, Burnaby Hats Off Day, studio shots, portrait outing, and Vancouver Jazz Festival; every one of it gives me tons of shutter chances. So now I end up with handful of un-process digital files and un-printed negatives. Well, I'm not complaining, since this is my hobby. However, it's still kinda too much for me to do. Even I spent numerous days and nights in the dark room or in front of the computer to process my files and negative, I still feel the helplessness in finishing everything. My sister even said that I pay full time attention in photography while only do part time work in study. Ha~ Let see how much longer do I need to work everythings out!

July is even worst.

My good friend, Hiroko, is leaving Vancouver and go back to Japan. So on top of all the jobs I mention above, I have to pay extra time to get something done for her. >.<~~ Well, good things do happen. The pictures of Hats Off Day and Jazz Festival are greatly success. The result is encouraging. In fact, the pictures of Jazz Fest may introduce me to get a photo pass in the Jazz Fest next year! Isn't it great!? However, I have tooooo many things to do in July, while time is greatly limited (I'm going to Taiwan and HK at the end of the month). So the pictures of the Hats Off Day will not be done in a short time. Be patient, and I'll let you know when they are done.

As I have a more powerful computer, things are subjected to change! I think some new sections will come up and the style of this page may update by the end of July. So come back later to check them out!

Hi Everybody, long time no see.

Well, I was busy as hell for my final exam in last two months. No wonder I don't really have time to update this page. For those who did come back and view my pictures, I have to apologize for the late update.

Anyway, this is the new update version. Some new stuff are added. And of course, that included many new pictures. I recommend to pay attention to those pictures of cherry and Tofino Hot Spring. Hey, I never stop taking pictures, even in exam period! Ha~

I hope everyone of you will enjoy the pictures. All comments are welcome. By the way, did you perform the Monitor Calibration ? This is really really important for you to view this site, please do it.

I'm glad to know that this page generally receives some positive responses since the Feb 15. In response to the report of linkage errors and spelling mistakes, I have done many minor modifications. Thank you for all the comments, just don't be too mint to me. Ha Ha~

Some new pictures are added, for more info, please check on the "latest update" section. I really hope that all my guests will come in quite often to check out the new pictures. I mean it.

Well, there are some new ideas in my mind too, see if I have time to make them happen la. ^o^

Mid Jan, 2000

Well well, I really don't expect that I will update this page in only half a month! After I have got the digital camera, I have more chance to take pictures than ever. This is such a great feeling that I can take picture as I like. ^.^ You'll see how the digital camera work out in the pages.

I start to receive the results of my final exam; as I expected, I did poorly in some subjects... Well, other than keep working in the following days, what else I can do about it? I really hope that I have the same interest in my study as I have in photography...

Anyway, I hope you'll like the new layout of this page.

P.S. I think I am fired in the graphic department of the Perspective, since I haven't got any jobs since September 99. Well, I don't know the reason, I only hope that this is not because of the quality of my pictures. >_< ~
