OLIVET AT 58!

Fellow Olivetians,
About 9.30 am on the 29th day of January 1945, Oyo Baptist Boys High School [Now Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo] was opened by American Southern Baptist Mission in the old mission house at Oke-Isokun [Now occupied by Baptist College of Theology, Oyo] where Rev. Pinnock, the first Baptist Missionary to the ancient Empire of Oyo established a mission post.

Today, exactly 58 years later, we have decided to use this medium to give thanks and honour to whom it is due. We give all thanks and praise to the eternal rock of ages, the King of Kings, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, Almighty God.
