The use of space transportation for commercial use is almost exclusively as transporting satellites into orbit. All of the space transportation is directly related to the amount of business of the companies who are sending out these satellites. In the late 90�s, the United States employed a different type of cargo other than a satellite. This new �space tourism� was becoming more of a reality at the time, and consisted of public space transportation, which could range from just inside Earth�s orbit to the outer limits of Earth�s atmosphere |
