Our Lives

We met through mutual friends (Andrew and Phil) at a New Year's Eve party. I saw her across a crowded room. (Actually, it was a basement, and he thought that I was with one of the two male friends with whom I had arrived). I knew from that moment on, that I would spend the rest of my life with her. (We saw each other again, in Andrew's car on Canada Day, July 1, and headed for Ottawa to take part in the festivities. I did not remember him!). We married on August 2, 1997, after having lived together for three years. (You call that living!?). She is my Everything! (He's not so bad himself!).

On October 6, 2001, Eleonore gave birth to our beautiful daughter Gabrielle.

On July 10, 2003, our bouncing baby boy, Tristan, was born.

Us

This is us:

We each have our own personal pages.

Our Home

After living in an apartment, in the Town of Mount Royal for three years, we decided that we had had enough of being awakened every morning at 7:30 by a delivery truck bringing goods to the pharmacy next door. Not to mention the three cats living upstairs who spent their days chasing each other and knocking things over. Did I also mention the two-year-old who moved in across the hall (with his family, of course) who screamed at the top of his lungs every time he left his apartment? He was the deciding factor in our taking the plunge into the real estate market.

We liked the West Island of Montreal, especially Beaconsfield, and we started looking for a house in that area. After months of fruitless searching, our real estate agent called us up, told us that a house had just been put on the market and we absolutely had to see it that night. So, we did and we liked what we saw (for the most part). We made an offer and within 48 hours, we had bought our first house. We took possession of it on July 1 (again Canada Day) 1997.

This is our home (not that it lookslike that any more!):

Camping and the Great Outdoors

We really enjoy camping. We mean sleeping in a tent, not that trailer thing some people call camping.

Jokes, Quotes & Images

Each day, we receive many e-mails from friends, family and co-workers. Not all are serious, personal and work-related. Many, in fact, are jokes! Wow! Imagine that! We thought that we would choose one item from each of the above-mentioned categories and update it occasionally. ie: whenever we remember to. Some are in questionable taste, but funny nevertheless. We do not know where most of these originate, but they do eventually wind up on our screens.

Read, look and enjoy!

  • BLAGUE of the moment.
  • QUOTE of the moment.
  • IMAGE of the moment.
