Joséphine (Pussy Cat) is a white, long-haired female. We first spotted her on the 30th of March 1999. She showed up at our front door one day, and never left. She was approximately 10 months old at the time.
Joséphine gets her name because of her regal look. We could not decide on a name for her for the longest time. I called her "Minou", Steve called her "Pussy Cat", my parents called her "Princesse", a couple of our friends called her, "Duchess", the two little girls next door called her "Snowball". I finally got fed up and chose a name. It suits her.
She is a very unusual cat. She loves water. Whenever we take a shower, we have to be careful or she will join us in the tub. She often sleeps in the bathroom sinks and in the bathtub. She likes to drink water from the tap. If she decides to drink from her bowl, she has to put her paw in it, then drink. Whenever, we water the lawn, she has to chase the water. Weird!
Despite being so unusual, she is a lot of fun!
