Holy Week and Pascha -- A Reflection

Holy Thursday Sermon

Jesus Christ -- From Gethsemane to His Resurrection
Holy Week is the most sombre, but (at the same time) happy, week of the Year. In this week, we see Jesus Christ resurrect Lazarus from the dead, His Triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, His Betrayal, His Trials and Mockings, His Crucifixion, His Burial, and His Glorious Resurrection. It is at this time that we must all reknew our Baptismal Garment; by that, I mean that we must all realize that we are all sinful and change our ways. We must all become like Christ, and therefore will attain the Kingdom of Heaven. With Christ, everything is possible. Let us all follow the Holy Week Services, and pray that we have the 'suitable wedding garment'. God give us strength at this time, so that we may all see Victory over death, His Glorious Resurrection!! "CHRISTOS ANESTI!"
