The East Boston Greenway is a linear park created by converting an old railroad right-of-way into a walking and biking trail, which together with quiet residential streets, will connect Piers Park, Memorial Stadium, the new Bremen Street Park, Wood Island Bay Marsh, Constitution Beach and Belle Isle Marsh Reservation. This new system of connected parks and trails will provide a safe, green path to access East Boston's harborfront, natural areas and recreational resources.

The East Boston Greenway is providing about 12 acres of new parkland and a 3.5 mile pedestrian/bike trail accross East Boston. In addition to the residents of East Boston, the East Boston Greenway has many partners and supporters including City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, MA Department of Conservation and Recreation, MA Highway Department, Mass Turnpike Authority, Massport, local elected officials, Trust for Public Land, and Boston Natural Areas Network.

Please join the effort to see the East Boston Greenway through completion and support its successful operation.
