Whatever the names are, you have come to the place where you must go underwater with our casting nets or our 'pukat' or even fish gun to catch fish. That is why you must be a swimmer to enjoy this trip, otherwise we would have to appoint you to be our assistant chef for the day. Put some of the catch inside some bamboos or simply prepare them raw with some hot chillies and salt with a little onion and lemon. Choose some of the bigger ones to be steamed inside some big leaves, or just simply roast them. You are now in a place where nature is offering you its best to enjoy - feed your stomach!

We make do with what little utensil we bring. The idea is to be close to nature as much as possible. You enjoy not only the meal but also the place where you prepare the meal. Congratulation. You are in the deepest jungle along the longest river in Malaysia. You have made it!
The catch would be more than we could enjoy, so we must bring them back for our relatives. The trip is an opportunity for us to bring back something for our family members. If you could not bring them back to where you come from, you may give them to your future host family in Asap Longhouse. That would be our next destination. I am sure they would appreciate it.
