Image 3.- The procession moving north on Fayetteville nears the middle of the 100 block of Fayetteville St. (1/2 block from  
the Capitol). The funeral car was escorted by Raleigh's leading citizens, Confederate veterans, and townspeople. 
 
Notice the Confederate Battle flag and bunting on the building in the background.
