notarized letter of invitation
A visa with a maximum validity of six months will be issued free of charge (FOR US CITIZENS ONLY)
If you are traveling as a tourist or in transit (other then airport transit) :
Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Austria, e.g. recent Bank statement
Letter of continued employment including income statement
Confirmed hotel reservation or confirmation of tour
Proof of travel/health/accident insurance (minimum of medical coverage US$ 35,000)
