Chemical Dispensing System
Automatic dispensing stations for chemicals and dyestuffs are getting increasingly popular in dye houses. They can reduce cost as well as increasing the reproducibility. With the chemical dispensing systems, there is a facility for liquid dyestuffs and chemicals to be exactly dosed in quantities that can be from 50 ml to several hundred liters, along with the provision of transportation from chemical room to each single apparatus. Compact design and the usage of pumps, ensures freedom from space restrictions. This way a very simple and cheap installation system is achieved. Two flowmeters are used to measure the liquids volumetrically. The liquids are then carried to the apparatus via pipe systems. The use of compressed air as a transporting medium ensures minimal water consumption. Also, the feature of dosing accuracy enables an overall reduction in the quantity of chemicals along with gaining of additional quantities. Another significant role it plays is to save workers from getting in touch with chemicals that are injurious to health. It is on the stainless steel frames, that the dispenser module is generally mounted. It includes a series of accessories like a collector module for connecting the chemical tanks to the pipeline system, a transport pump, a PLC controller, water connection for rinsing etc.

The system can work as a standalone unit or can be fully integrated with an existing network of EDP-system through interfaces to all control systems and common recipe formulation.

Chemical Dispensing System
The Chemical dispensing system that is shown here in the diagram is that of a fully automatic volumentric Dispense Unit. The machine works on the principle of electro-magnetic flow measuring. This particular model has a capacity to dispense all chemicals and dyestuff with a viscosity of max 1000 mpas.

Features of Chemical Dispensing System
  • Completely automatic dosing of liquid products.
  • High flow velocity along with short call-off times.
  • A large number of chemical tanks can be inter-connected, that means more products per line.
  • Complete transparency of data.
  • Systematically arranged representation of switched valves and other system parameters.
