House Gymnastic Olympics 2003 - The more dangerous it is, the better the move.

Right dudes heres the deal....

I went to this website http://www.housegymnastics.com whilst sufing the worldwide weird web. Suddenly it occured to me how we cud create a game from this....The House Gymnastic Olympics! Basically on this site theres 25 moves you can do, you have to hold each one for three seconds. Each move has a difficulty rating....this rating could be the point score you get for completing the move.

Now clearly as the website says, it would be dangerous to do this under the influence of alcohol and drugs, so i was thinking if someone had a spare house we could all congregate at, with some beer and food (drugs are optional)...we could all compete and see who can get the most points we could agree on a prize we all have to get the winner, to actually make it worth competing.

It does occur to me that some of these move's are preety impossible i.e. "ceiling stand" but i'm sure we can add a few of our own moves in.

I've tried to picture doing every move in my house and i think it's possible, providing we don't wear shoes and my parents are nowhere near the bloody house. So i wouldn't mind hosting....just i think my stairs bannister is a bit crap really :( and jumping jack wedge would be intresting in my house :/ Theres always my uni house too but that's all the way in Preston. i'm sure Parabolic Curve deserves to be 4 star :s My old uni house woulda been ace for this...

It doesn't end there folks, theres also some outdoor moves we can do such as phonbox wedge and lion stand (altho i can't think of any lion statues in town there must be an alternative, the pyramids on Church St wuda been ideal). Basically it's more inspiring me to make a full day of it and armed with camera's we can do these moves all over town (and get arrested). We may need a car to carry out car monkey.

"This move is extremely difficult and could result in death. - xXx = "The Holy Grail" of House Gymnastics. Using various wedge and brace methods, climb up to the ceiling in an alcove and splay yourself against the ceiling, spreading arms and legs out as far as they will go (as performed by Vin Diesel in the film "xXx")."

House Gymnastics is a cross breed of yoga, breakdancing, climbing and gymnastics in a domestic setting. House Gymnastics can be performed by anyone, at anytime, anywhere. The greater the height or danger, the better the move. Manoeuvres must be held in position for 3 seconds to be valid. Once the indoor moves have been mastered, they can be applied to outdoor situations. I feel like Johnny Knoxville :D

As it happens Thursday 28th August my parents are away. If anyone fancies making a day of it sometime let me know :) Tra. Vic.
