December 18th I had peer Tutoring after school and then I met up with Vincent and we walked downtown. I dropped some stuff off at the library and then we went to starbucks. ah. starbucks. mmm. then we saw greg and he came in and chatted it up with us for a bit before leaving. he looks like Kurt Cobain. after greg left vince and I started talking about shower stuff. he uses the same St. Ives apricot face scrub as I do!!! then I suggested green tea as a method of removing zits. he tried it later and said it worked. hehe.
December 19th Yay! last day of school. I taught almost all of my classes how to play Driedle. :D after school I stayed behind for a bit and organized choral sheet music because I'm a geek. then my blessed mummy came and picked me up. yay! that night I went with Anthony and Elisa to Jomopo's. he gave us hideous directions. we finally arrived at la casa de joe's and the most enjoyable thing we did was pretend to kill each other under the strobe light in his basement. after awhile I went upstairs and got some people to bum shuffle down the stairs. it was fun. then we had to go. and that's the story.
December 20th it was our church hannukah party today. I stayed downstairs the whole time heling trish make little baggies for the kiddies. then I crocheted during service. After the hannukah party my mom dropped me off at Carolyn's as she was having a little christmas party. it's a good thing i was in the process of making another scarff and finished it there as I was unaware we had to bring a gift. and good thing it was carolyn who was last because she got the scarff and I wanted to give her one. yay! so. yes. carolyn's party was a smash. Vincent's mom made sushi. ooooooh sushi. I like sushi. everyone did. except greg. and Brian stared at the bookshelf. after the party and sitting on santa;s lap carolyn, emu, laara, and amy sleptover at my house in the basement. hehe. in the morning Elisa had to leave as well as carolyn. Laara's dad came by and picked us up, then we took amy to work and stayed at the mall so we could "check out" a "prophet" whom we had been told from many sources was rather the tasty dish. they were right.
December 22nd I went for a walk downtown. Amy left some stuff at my house so I thought I'd go drop it off. first I got a hot chocolate from starbucks, then I went to the library and pulled out some sheet music. yes! then I walked over to amy's and just as I was going down her street she drove past me and stopped. thank god. i wasn't exactly sure as to what house she lived in, only the complex. :D yeppers. then amy gave me a ride home. :d and I tried out the sheet music. I got the music for "The Entertainer" , the original composition by Scott Joplin. WOOOOOOO!!!
December 23Rd Julia came over!!! jules just had surgery so she was a little groggy and out of it a little. :( we fed her latkes and Auntie helen said that;s the most she's eaten in a week. :D:D:D yay! we're to blame for that. then we had cheese cake. pecan praline cheesecake. 2 dye 4. mmm. yes. tanya straightened her hair and I made her a scarf, as well as Auntie helen, who generously paid me 7 dollars for it even when I refused. I accepted it after she told me I should use it to buy more yarn. yes. ... more yarn ... mu ahha!!! then they had to go :(. After I called around and I got the gang to go looking at christmas lights. good time. I filmed a lot of it. we drove up to where the really rich homes were. really depressing the amount of lights that they DON"t have. pf pitiful. just pitiful. then we had to drop elisa off and then we went to my house and just hung around in my basement chatt
December 24th went to anthony's for a little gift exchange. GASP!!! jeremy went out of his house!!! I flimed the gift exchange, :D YES i got some like it hot DVD from joe. and I gave elisa $10 gift certificate to Famous PLayers. YES!! good fun. after anthony's I went home to get ready to go to betty's. she invited us over for a little christmas get together. which i filmed a bit of also. some of the younger adults and tanya and I went downstairs and were watching tv. some one mentioned that the superstation was probably going to play movies all day on christmas and I was like "Ha, on boxing day, they're having a mel gibson marathon" and jamie was like "NO WAY! are you serious? he's my favourite actor1" "well then you can watch 24 hours of mel gibson!" hehe. AND BETTY BOUGHT ME YARN!!! BEAUTIFUL YARN SO i COULD MAKE MYSELF A SCARF!!! YES!!! i started making one because I'm a geek and had a crochet hook with me. :P
December 25th I walked downtown. on christmas day I went for a walk downtown. it was empty, like a ghost town it was so empty. it was pretty sweet. the silence. the silence. woot woot!!!
December 26th my sister actually went shopping today. I little on the coocoo side. gllll. My mom rented T3 and Bowling for columbine. woo woo I love that documentary.
December 27th. WOOT WOOT it snowed! it snowed!! I walked downtown in the evening to enjoy the snow and ended up going to starbucks again. I sat down and low and behold who was seated at the table beside me on the cell phone but senor JOMOPO. he was on the phone with mike getting him to come down. good trio fun. joe showed us what he bought at the mall. PANTS ... THAT CHANGE COLOUR .... and one of the colours is purple. hmmm ... interesting.. ... ... ... I called elisa and asked if she wanted to sleep over and she didn't like the idea of walking with me all the way up to my place so it was decided that I would sleep over there. mike drove me to elisa's and then I called my mom to let her know. hehe. we ate chocolate and watched TV until 12 when we watched the bonus features of Pirates of the Carribean. then we watched the actual movie and finally went to bed at 4. we woke up at around 9 9 30 ish and then her brother made us burgers for breakfast and then her mom took me home. after wards anthony called and we went to the mall to run some errands and stuff. I saw Andrea at Arby's, hehe. I miss her :'( our new neighbours yell at each other past midnight and their dog won't shut up. :( anyhoo, after the mall anthony and I called elisa and picked her up and brought her over to my house with the intention of her sleeping over. anthony brought "Scene it" (which he got for christmas) and we played that in my basement on my computer. my mom came down and saw elisa and automatically assumed that she was sleeping over. hehe. Anthony won the game :P I was in the lead for quite some time though ,,,, but I only got a few questions right :P. after anthony and to go and elisa and I went for a little walk. it was really slippery. i fell twice. we stopped by at Angelique's and said hello before we went home. at home elisa and tanya played nintendo and I read Catch 22 and started to fall asleep. i woke up and got ready for bed and then I felll asleep on the couch while they were still playing nintendo.
December 29th I walked down to laara's and we started to film part of a script she wrote. Travis was the leading man and came down too, because he's the leading man and we needed him so that we could film. After I walked home with my camera and then in my state of boredom decided to yet again go and walk downtown. I called up vincent to see if he was up for it and he's all like yeah sure and then woah what you're walking down lordy why you nuts it's so cold pfff ok see you there. So I walked down and met him at 7:30. Taylor was working!!! woot woot! He told us of how he made some chocolate whipped cream and asked if I wanted some. He then sprayed a whole lot on the back of my hand. mmmmmm. I coaxed vincent into going against the norm and buying a cold drink instead of a hot one on a cold day. He agreed. we both got ourselves a vanilla creme frap. Taylor asked if we wanted Chocolate whipped cream with that .... bring it on baby .... mmmmm so we sat and drank our fraps ... we talked about parkinson's disease somehow, and about how this guy he knows who has it does this very sparratic arm movement while talking. Then I commented how cool it'd be if that's how people talked, and then he and I practiced sparratic arms movements while talking and it was like interpretive dance or something. it was so fun. and we were right in front of the window too. hehe. Then I wanted my drink to have more vanilla ... so I grabbed that powder bottle stuff and started pouring some in. Vincent did the same. It wasn't enough though. I so took the bottle and kept it at the table. I unscrewed the lid (which spilled on the table) and then proceeded to pour the powder into the drink. haha. vincent did too. Then taylor came buy and gave us more chocolate whipped cream. mmmmm then we poured in more vanilla powder. by the time we left there was no more powder in that bottle. hehe
December 30th WOOT WOOT WOOT it snowed again last night. Carolyn called and we got Elisa and Laara to go and make play in the snow. I walked down to carolyn's and then after we went up to the hill and tobaggoned. we went of this jump sorta thing and haha we landed onthe edge of the tobaggaon all the time on our butts. hehe. it's going to leave a big mark. I feel a big bruise coming on already. mu haha.
December 31st Woot Woot new years eve. I made cookie dough in the morning and left it to chill in the fridge. THen I came on my blessed computer and was in the middle of typing up an informing email when POOF my computer turned off. At first I thought it was a malfunction due to faulty computer parts or myself but NO!!! I looked around and everything that was electrically dependant had turned off as well. THE POWER WAS OUT!!! and why should it not be out? It's been snowing here since last night. WOOT WOOT everything is blanketed in a crisp white cover. I had planned on doing my laundry and was actually in the process of doing it. You see, I have this laundry routine, it may sound completely disgusting but no one else seems to care. You see, I know it's time to do my laundry not when my laundry hamper is overflowing with mass amounts of clothes, but when I run out of clean clothes. Mainly underwear. If I wake up one morning and go to put on some nice clean underwear and I find that there is only one pair left then I say "GLLLLLLLLLLLL I should do my laundry!" I can deal with wearing pants that I've worn thrice already without washing but underwear? I don't want to try that out. So I tried to do my laundry. It was kind of hard seeing that the power was out. so I couldn't. so I made tanya a toque to match her jacket. Then the power came back on and i was like GLORY GLORY !!! thank god!!! yay! and then I went back on the computer. Then I baked cookies for like 2 hours. Then I talked to amy. You see, my mom made an oath when it snowed, that she wasn't going to drive in the snow until it was gone. SO I had to walk down to amy's. Until I talked to her on msn and she said she could give me a ride. YAY!!! so I went to amy;s, cookies and all, and then I helped her set up a bit for her new years shindig. Then Laara and Carolyn came and we watched Finding Nemo. There was a little mixup as to where the pepperoni pizza had gone... ooooooooh oooooooooooh. then it was 10:30, and we decided to go tobaggoning., HAHAHAHAHAHA we went toboganning! and it was so late, and it was so fun, laara filmed in the dark us going down the hill and flying off jumps. You know, there's nothing more fun than watching bodies fly miraculously through the air and laugh about it. hehe. after we had become frozen to the core we went back to amy's and were inside and flipped on the telly to find that it was 2 seconds to midnight. by the time she had announced it, it was already midnight. WOOT WOOT. Then we got out of our wet clothes and waited until CAlly came. Then we watched "Spirited Away" and then "Pirates of the Carribean" I love that movie. By the time it was over it was 5:30 and then we decided that it was time to go to bed. we woke up around 11 and ate a delicious breakfast provided by Amy's parents and watched some LOTR because we are GEEKS and love LEGOLAS the ELF who is one SHECKSHEE BEESHT in the movie. and only as an elf, I think. then amy drove me home.
January 1st After amy dropped me off, I took a looooooooong luxurious showa. uh huh. and then and then and then I called anthony to see what was happening and he's all like "nuthin" and so we decided to go to joe's house. well as asked him first. my house was getting old and we couldn't go to anthony's. so anthony walked up to my house and then frmo there we walked to joe's. and from there we watched Family guy episodes the whole night. HAHAHAHAHAHA family guy. the belly rolls of laughter. mu haha. then we talked about going downtown tomorrow. A difficult to maneuver plan had evolved which we decided would be difficult to carry out as anthony had to do a law project at someone's house.
January 2nd we decided to go downtown last minute. there was no snow there. I found a deliciously tempting Royal Crown Revue CD. The first store I had ever gone to where I found one. It was used and was 8.99. I took it. well I bought it I didn't take it. Then I found the latest Supreme Being of Leisure CD (divine operating systeme) and snatched that up to at 10.99. well I didn't snatch it I bought it.
February 2nd : Recap. Well WEll, it's been a while since my last entry. A new semester ahs begun, but first, a recap on the final days of Semester One. On January 23rd I went down to Vancouver and helped Andrew!!! make his film for school. I am Cassie. I had to come back by 3 for hair rehearsal ... I was a little late. That night ma took tanya and I to white spot for dinner, where Low and behold working there was our good Friend and Fry Wench. We said hello and were the loudest ones in the restaurant. The next day I had math tutorial in the morning. YES ... a Saturday ... and I was at school. After that Amy graciously went bus chasing with me and I ended up in vancouver early to help andrew film again. THE SEA MONKEY STOLE MY MONEY!!! I took the bus home late and then when I got back I went out to play a game of pool with Anthoyn and Joe. GOOd FUN. and then they came overfor a bit .. i think ... yes.. THEN on sunday, I went downtown early and filmed with andrew again. WOOH in all we spent about 20 hours this weekend filming. I got to put make up on the jewish one. hehe. blood make up, no drag you sickos. good fun. Then Frida drove me home. a sweet swedish girl. she says there's a lot of Ikeas in Sweden. This week is exam week, so we only had to go to school for a tutorial, HAIR (grrrr) or for exams. I don't think I went in on monday Tuesday I went in because I had an English exam. WOO HOO glad that's gone and done. I stayed after and practiced my precious clarinet and tried out the barry for JR bAnD. THEN SMMALLVILLE was a new eppy so I enjoyed that very much. mmmm WElling. No new OC yesterday though. On wednesday, it was dooms day. I had spent the last week or two studying for the dreaded exam. MATH 12!!! dun dun duuuuuuuuuun. I'm so scared. Previously I had taken practice provincials and all. But nothing could prepare me for the terror that was this exam. It was SO HARD!!! Later I overheard our teacher say that it was one of the hardest Math 12 Provincials she's seen in years. OF ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD, I GET TO TAKE THE HARDEST ONE! WOE IS ME!!! then I went with allison and friends to a gymnastics place. TRAMPOLINE! On thursday I went in for HAIR rehearsal, still recovering from the horrid test of yesterday. Friday night I had anthony come over because I wasn't allowed to go out, we started writing another script. mu haha. Saturday after church I went with my mom and sister to Mission's Fest where we helped out at one of the booths handing out books to people. I SAW AMY THERE!!! And TJ too, who was my chesire cat in Alice and Wonderland (shudder shudder) Sunday I had Joe come over and for the first time he saw Pirates of the Caribbean. It's safe to say that he liked it. I spent most of the day editing a little short film for my grandma, as that was to be her birthday present. I have PEER GYNT stuck in my head now.
