November 20th weeoo, had my call back audition today after school. I think I did rather well considering the fact that I've had a cough this week. It didn't seem to affect my voice much (except allow me to go beyond my limit of an E in base clef)((one that women CAN achieve)) but the only one I can reach now is a D and I can barely make a C. AH!!! yes. SO. that was my audition. my ma came and picked me up afterwards, and I went home and rested.
November 21st AH!!! Anthony's play was tonight. After school I went downtown and met up with mike. he went with me to fill out forms to get my criminal check done (don't ask.) and then helped me in picking out an arrangement of flowers that a guy wouldn't mind as I had planned on buying the Manflower (that is anthony)((alice in wonderland)) flowers. after we went for sushi and then he walked me back to school. Then friends and I found our seats for the play (front row OH YEAH baybe.) and then I told them of the flowers. Shakira and Joe pulled out some money and pitched in for the purchase. WEEOO the play was so good. it was a nonverbal play. which would explain why I couldn't hear a word they were saying. :P:P There was a part in the show where Anthony has this fantasy and this girl "rides" him. After the show we all went to the stage door to greet him and gave him the flowers and I was like "hey anthony, you're gonna riiiiiiiiide your way to the top!" mu haha. it was good good fun. After the show allison came over. (as she is sleeping over tonight) she's going to do my hair for the grad photos that are to take place tomorrow. This year the school decided to hold the photos at our school instead of having to go to the studio SO guess what they did? They offered the services of our Band and choir room. pffffff probably thought "gee, no one goes there except for those little band geeks" pffffffff our principal. I know she has a hidden agenda. her and that stupid lovely sports car. GRRRRRRRR. so yes. we couldn't have band today due to the exploitation of our beloved room. :(
November 22nd Allison sleptover last night, she came to church with me in the morning. She helped me do my hair for my grad pictures which were scheduled this evening. :D she helped me cuuuuuuuuuuurl my hair. Then anthony came and picked me up in his Ford Explorer (no sharp tuuuuurns!!!)) Then both of us got our head shots. hehe while anthony was getting his done I was like SHECKSHEEEEEEEEEEEE SHECKSHEEEEEE and anthony flashed a look on his face that said KILL MEEEEEEEEEEEE KILL MEEEEEEEEE or rather it was more like kill natalie. pf the photographer thought it was funny. We went back to my house and phoned joe. then we went and picked him up. we told him to look spiffy because anthony and I were already dressed up so we thought we'd go somewhere fawncy. Then (here's fancy) we went to IKEA. yes. actually it was quite fun there. IKEA. good fun. we picked out what we all want in our apartments when we first move out. it was great. Then we went to a restaurant and had some chow (der ... I had clam chowder) then we drove to my house and hung around in my living room until the time came and the boyzies had to leave for the night. then I went to bed.
November 23rd I spent aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall day studying for my midterm tomorrow. MAth 12. oy vey. I don't know how I'll make it. without going crazy. I'm starting to come down with something too. I mean, I've been a teeny itty bitty ill for the past two weeks or so, but today I think I'm feeling worse. becoming worse. either way I'm coughing and hacking a lot more.
November 24th MIDTERM. I felt like crap all day. I wore my sweat pants because I felt like crap since I got up. ahhh. sweatpants. such extreme goodness. yes. hey I found out I got Dionne in the musical HAIR which we'll be doing in the spring. yay!!! I'm a lead!!! I'm a leeeeeeeeead !!! w00t w00t!! midterm after school. I crammed like crazy in the morning with amy. yay! and then after school the DREADED midterm. hey, here's an identity for you. MATH 12 = EVIL!!!! it works out on both sides. yes. midterm. anyways. I had been drinking tea all day so I finished as quickly as I could (yet took my precious time doing each question in great detail) because i had to go to the baaaaaaathroom. then I caught joe and he gave me a ride home. I started to feel really cold a shivery when I got home and starting coughing a whole lot more. I'm SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!! argh. it's quarter after 8. I'm going to bed.
November 25th I didn't go to school today. I was contemplating the possibility, but decided against it. You see, I've had this horrible phlegmy cough since last night, worse than I think I ever had since highschool. Man, the last time I missed a day of school due to illness was in grade nine when I was accidentally elbowed in the throat during PE class. yep. I tried to sleep a little, but I find it hard to breathe when I sleep. So I don't sleep when I'm sick. speaking of sleep, last night's was restless. GUESS WHAT I DREAMED ABOUT ALL NIGHT??? LOGS!! stupid logarithims. I tossed and turned all night thinking I had my math workbook with me and I was doing math problems in bed. it was so creepy. yes. well I watched the grinch today with my sister (oh yes, she was ill as well. we both stayed home.)
November 26th Missed the morning of school. tanya did as well. we walked to school in time for lunch and then proceeded to be greeted by HEY WHERE THE HECK WERE YOU's from peoples. then we (or, I, at least) to be confused during the remainder of classes as the lack of knowledge as to what had been taught during the period of time hadn't been taught to the one that had been away. Yes. Airgo, I was very confused. after school Joe picked me up as well as Liam and we went to see the play in which anthony is in once more. This time it was being held at another school as it was being judicated. MU HAHA everyone laughed at the riding1!! the riding!!! Afterwards we stayed and listened to the judicator give his notes, and talked with the cast a little. then we raced Kate home. :P
November 29th Went out with Anthony and Elisa. We went to future shop and saw vincent there. good visit. Then while browsing through the aisles of CD's joe appeared as he tracked us down. DRAT!!! then we decided to go get some grub. we ended up going to Tim Hortons. I went in Joe's car to keep him company and Anthony and elisa went in anthony's. Somehow we split up, i don't know where the heck anthony thought Tim Hortons was. anyways we met up there and ordered our foooooooooooooood and then saw vanessa in the parking lot. after we went to my house as usual then just hung out in my basement. like always.
December 6th AH!!! I did nothing. Nothing at all tonight. except sit at home and crochet. CROCHET!!! ARGH!!! I'm beginning to get little hand cramps. I think I've made about 7 scarves so far. I think i'm becoming addicted. i'm such a geek. I'm like a little grandma with my balls of yarn and crochet hook going around everywhere and crocheting. I guess it's what I've been doing to keep my mind off certain things. this week is doing to be so stressful. Shawn paid a surprise visit at 10:30. he brought a friend along ... travis ... a delinquent grade 6 who i've made acquaintances with before. it was interesting ... the stories they told ... not to mention the story they told of how they came to my place ... knocking on the houses of 3 other people looking for my house before finally finding it.
December 7th I kept saying to myself ... gee ... I should get right on that homework I have, yup. I have lots of it to do. come on natalie ... homework. yep. didn't do it. wanna know what I did instead? I MADE 2 SCARVES!!!! oh yeah. hand cramps. hand cramps. I think I have a disease.
December 8th Choral night was tonight. last year I had trouble seeing the other choirs performing due to a lack of perfection in my eyes, so I brought my camera. After school I stayed in the band room because a) we had a choral rehearsal for HAIR and b) I'm a geek and didn't really have any other place to go. so I stayed and made paper chains for wednesday's concert. For the past week now amy and I have been coming in in the morning and borrowing Ms. S's kettle and make ourselves tea. we;ve begun to offer her some as well and she gratefully accepts. we usually have to pour out the remainder of the tea she had in there before. So we've been drinking tea and doing our homework in the morning. I've named ourselves the "Tea Tribe" I'm such a geek. I love tea. Ms. S even donated some to our cause! back to choral night though, there wasn't enough room in the caf, so we our choir had to stand. I sat on the floor with sandy, with my handy handy camera. Sandy was on the lookout for the hot guys (how many are you going to find in a choir, eh? she had to look really hard) as the choirs were coming into the Caf I held my camera up above our heads and tilted the LCD screen downwards a bit so we could get a glimpse of everyone, zooming in on potentials. considering the height of sandy and myself, this was quite the good idea. while the other choirs were performing, I'd zoom in on their faces and sandy would determine whether or not they were "hot". good fun, good fun.
December 9th I had a doctor appointment after school. I've had this rather strange growth on my middle finger (hehe) since grade nine and I wanted to inquire as to it's origins. yep had to get the 'ol liquid nitro freezing treatment and I'll have to come back next week. IT'S SO HARD TO CROCHET WITH A WOUNDED FINGERING FINGER!! owie. anyways, then I went to study group at Laura's. Amanda brought in foooooooooood from her work. mmm mmm mmm then we studied. then we realized that we knew everything. so we stopped and started talking. then we went with krystal to drive amanda home, and then she dropped me off.
December 10th Band concert. it's the biggie tonight. everything we've worked on for the past 2 months finally displayed in one night that seperates the juniors from the seniors, men from the boys ... yeah I'm a geek. After school there was major set up. mm hmmm. we were there until 4 just doing the minor parts of it, then came the decorating. I assisted Amy (who was head of the decorations) in putting up the lights around the gym. it was a mass of untangling and placing bulbs into the right sockets and getting shocked once or twice. GASP! I'm shocked! then with 30 minutes to spare i walked downtown with several other band/choir folk to get dinner. I got sushi. mmm. sushi. *sigh* then we walked back to school and ate. I decided to eat the wasabi again ... then as it burned my throat i decided that wasn't the brightest idea considering I had to sing that night. hmmm. then started the concert. ohhhhhh the longness of the concert ... massive amounts of christmas songs and little kids singing about the fat fat man in their chimney. We played well ... i hope. I think we played well. Senior band opened the concert with our piece. yes. I think we did well. i didn't do that bad on the ol' trumpet. i thought i would do horrible. but i didn't. yay! go geek! then when we sang our little crazzle of a jibberish song, we kinda screwed up. *sigh* oh well. we caught ourselves. YEAH TENORS ROCK. geek. then before performing our mass band piece, we had to be seated in our band seats behind this choir that was performing. With their bums in our faces we didn't have much of a view of the audience ... only buttocks's. so I resorted to staring at people in our own department. haha it was so fun. I stared at katrina, Horace (i love horace) and Emu bugeyed until they looked over at me with shock and a twinge of creeped outness. then I did it to oliver. he didn't notice for a long time. I looked over at what he was looking at. MU HAHA!!! it looked as if he was looking at the bums that were before us. the bums of an adult choir consisting of adults between the ages of 35 and 70. I couldn't help but giggle. then he noticed and retaliated with a creepy looks of his own. mu haha. concert was good. we played well. but we didn't sing our mass piece too well with all the choirs. It was kind of difficult when we had two different people directing us in different parts of the gym. oh well. After the concert, we stayed behing for take down, which didn't take as long as we thought it would. YAY!! Everyone had left and I was waiting for Amy to come back as she left to drop her parents off and was to come back to drive me home as well. While waiting, I decided to clean the band room a little, seeing it was a major dump and I was bored. I started stacking chairs when Ms S came in and yelled "NATALIE!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? the juniors will clean it up tomorrow!!" and I said " I know I know, but it's either clean or crochet!" "I thought you liked crochet!" "I'M GETTING HAND CRAMPS!!! HORRIBLE HAND CRAMPS!!!" then she laughed and OK'd me to continue cleaning. Then amy came back, and then we said bye to Ms. S, then on our way out she called us back in and yelled "You girls are princesses!" yay! I'm a princess!
December 15th. I missed hair rehearsal because I had a chiropractors appointment. he cracked my back goood. oooooooooooooooh.
December 16th ARGH MATH MATH I HATE MATH!!! stupid stupid math and probability and stupidness ARGH MOTHER TRUCKER poo. yes. math test = hard. I stayed after school for a half hour just to finish it making me late for stupid HAIR and ARGH stupidness poo.
December 17th I had to miss HAIR because i had a Doctors appointment. I told B yesterday that I'd be missing it and today she's all blah you're missing rehearsals this isn't going to be a constant thing blah blah i'm sure if it was Green boy or AFro man she wouldn't care because she's on love with them. I could be dying you know. I could be dying ... and she wouldn't care. :P
