| Bathroom Adventure I had a white albino hamster named Casper and one time i put him on the bathroom floor with the door shut. what I hadnt noticed was that there was a small hole behind the sink and when i went to pick him up he'd gone. Because I couldnt find him I went into a horrible state. I put my other hamster Emma in the bathroom also, in her cage with her new 6 babies she'd had with Casper, to see if her scent would get him out, but, after 20 minutes he still hadnt come out. We took the bathroom cupboard apart to see if we could see him. No luck. Me and my family went into the living room where I began crying. After about 10 minutes I felt as though he was there so i went to the bathroom and peered inside the cupboard. There shinning up at me where two red eyes from an albino animal. In a rush a darted into the cupboard and grabbed him before he went into a little hole. Instead of a white hamster he was a sooty grey colour. But I was too busy kissing him. | New Hamster Arrivals The day my hamster Emma had babies was the best day ever with my hamsters. I had noticed Emma's belly growing, but, thought nothing of it. She was a very greedy hamster so I thought it was food. This day though I went into the Hamster room (they had their own room) and went to check on Emma by lifting up her bedding when a little baby popped out. It was pure pink and only a few cm long. I got such a fright I put it back and ran into the kitchen screaming "Emma's had babies!" to my mum and dad. I'd never been so happy! (submitted by Lianne Gillespie) |
Tarzan Hammie Another Story about Casper, the comedy hamster in my home. He loved to swing about that if I ever went to the cage he'd climb up to the top dangle with two hands and begin swinging until he was holding with one hand. He looked a complete idiot, but, I was laughing my head off. He'd then drop to the ground and look up with his cute little face that begged to be kissed as if saying "What ya laughing at?". He was such a laugh! (submitted by Lianne Gillespie)
DIGGER I had a beautiful toffee coloured hamster with a white strip that halved her. Her name was Toffee and she constantly ate. I'd clean her cage and put her food bowl in whilst she'd be in her bed. As soon as she heard food rattling she'd be out there and downstairs to the bowl. She was extremely greedy that she'd store every single bit of food in the bowl and leave it lying empty. Then Id have a laugh watching her trying to get into her bed house because she'd stuffed her cheeks up so bad that she couldnt fit into the little hole. I'd be sitting there just laughing as she kept trying, then finally let her in. (submitted by Lianne Gillespie)
Stupid! my newest hamster , Sutty is as black as the night and as cute and cuddly as a bear , anyway after a day of having him I put a litter tray in his litter corner. Anyway he used it very soon after introduction but he always time and time again tips the tray (full of litter) over his head and body!!! (submitted by Jamie Youdale)

George And James My brother and I got one Russian Dwarf hamster each , James and George , my brothers hamster (James) was very ruthless and he bit at every opportunity , however James and George snuggled together and went to sleep for the first 2 months or so then James became grumpy and refused to have any thing to do with George , George got very depressed. Anyway one morning I woke up to find George headless in his food bowl , later that month James died by an abnormal cause (said by vet ) (submitted by Jamie Youdale)
