| Super Hamster!!!! When I was a teenager I had many, many hamsters. My favourite was Benni. She was three years old, and had many litters. She used to stay on my bed with me, through the night, one morning she was no where to be found. I came home from school, and looked for her frantically, she took none of the food I had set out. I was a wreck and sick to my stomach. The vent to the heating system was open, and my older brother told me she proberly fell down into the furnace. It was Winter. Well days went by I was very depressed over my beloved Benni and her horrible death. I had a funeral with my friends ( who thought I was nuts ) and still searched high and low for her, even though I knew the possibility of finding her was hopeless after 5 days. I had searched my closet dozen�s of times, taking everything out and checking it carefully. One night I was in bed, and I heard scratching � Could It Be� I opened my closet door and there she was, I picked her up she was so skinny and dehydrated but I still kissed her and kissed her. The next morning I inspected the closet and I found where she had been, inside of a two and a half inch phone book she had chewed in the centre and made a bed, of ripped up paper! Bad hamster, I said and loved her till she passed away, she was almost four years old. ( submitted by Joie ) |
