MEMBERS (listed alphabetically)Tom J. Hopkins--Writer/ArtistA writer and artist whom lacks a great deal of common sense. Tom is perpetually creating new ideas that both terrify and entertain...and often times both. Ryan Howe--Artist, Guild Founder Well dressed and mild mannered to the casual observer, this young man first created the DCG. A talented artist and a somewhat alright writer, Ryan is currently embroiled in crafting the monstrous tales of the Spook Troop, alongside long-time friend and writer, Nick Mohr. Ryan has also contributed to The Blitz and is heading up Redband, the new mature variety book from Dark Dagger. Ryan enjoys horror movies, rockabilly music and studded jackets. His weapon of choice is the Brush and India Ink. Webpage: Losing The Battle (DeviantArt) Jeremy Large--Writer Jeremy is a writer by trade, eager to get into the comics business. He works best in writing genre fiction, including (but not limited to) Sci-Fi, Horror, Western, Noir, or Superhero. His biggest writing influences are guys like Stephen King, Joss Whedon, and Warren Ellis. He is currently on the lookout for an artist to work with him on a long term project - a gritty, urban, pulp vigilante sort of deal. He's also open to assignments or artists who want someone to write for them. Nick Mohr--Writer, Filmmaker, Club Secretary/Treasurer Nick Mohr currently runs meetings for the Durham Comics Guild, along with Ryan Howe and select others. Nick also serves as Editor for "The Blitz", a variety comic showcasing local talent. "The Blitz" is published under "Dark Dagger Publications", of which Nick is a partner along with Ryan Howe and Marc Athanas. Creatively, Nick writes fiction of varied genres and produces independant films, both short and feature-length. Projects currently in production include the comic book "Spook Troop" with artist Ryan Howe and the episodic series "Retro Brothers" with actor Ron Mohr. Adam Prosser--Writer/Artist Adam has been making webcomics for 6 years now, including the daily strip "Night Shift" and the ongoing comedic strip "Freak U.", both viewable at Phantasmic Tales, linked to below. He's also written for Chuck Whelon's webcomic "The Weird Worlds of Pewfell Porfingles". He wrote and illustrated "Lemuria" and wrote "Spree", both collected in THE BLITZ #1.
