ABOUT THE DURHAM COMICS GUILDThe DCG is a gathering of aspiring comic writers and artists in the Durham Region. Our goal is to revitalize independent comics in the Durham area, and give local creators a chance to share their vision in this medium we all love: comics.Our meetings are every Wednesday, starting at 6:00pm, and are currently held in the South Residence 4th floor meeting room at Durham College, Oshawa, Ontario. These meetings provide writers and artists with a place to network, collaborate, and get published. We welcome new members! Anyone with the desire to make comics is welcome, just bring a pen and an open mind. Please attend the meetings, or contact us at our facebook site. The DCG is growing by the day. We also publish a bi-monthly anthology comic, "THE BLITZ", which we are always seeking new contributors for. This could be your chance to get some exposure, and have some fun doing it.
