Gala Wanderers captured the Lloyds TSB Scotland Youth League Cup Final for the third time, after out-scoring the Fifers by five tries to two at Murrayfield tonight.
It was an entertaining contest before a 1200 strong crowd as Dunfermline staged a spirited fightback from a 0-10 deficit to snatch the lead early in the second-half.

Dunfermline Colts edged through to the final of the Lloyds TSB Youth League Cup with a nerve-jangling win against Selkirk at Pennypit Park, Prestonpans.
The torrential rain meant both sides were hampered in attempts to move ball and in the end it came down to goal kicks.

Last Saturday was to be the game that ended the Colts 15 match unbeaten run as the Colts got beaten off a Stirling County team determined not lose again the Colts. Only one try from McColl was all the Colts had to show for what was a very poor performance. This now means Stirling county have won the tri districts (who cares) and the colts now start to prepare for Ross High on the 7th of January in the 1st round of the nationals.
