The history of the Realm Diemed
Diemed is one of the oldest realms in Cerilia.
It was founded by the leader of the fifth house of Andu
back when the Anureans first fled from Aduria.
The original borders of Diemed included these counties;
Diemed, Medoere, Roesone, and even Endier and the Spiderfell
(but these two where unsettled).
The Duke of present day Diemed, is an direct ascendant of the
founder of Diemed, and his name is Heirl Diem.
Diemed got it's name to honor the fifth house of Andu, its founder,
which name was Deretha.
A little about the Diem family
The Diem family has a long and proud history.
They where once (and traditionally still are) the leaders of the second
largest house of the Andu, and when Roele founded his Empire, the Diem which
then ruled over Diemed was one of the first to support him, and by doing so
becoming his second Duke.
The heir to the throne has always been the oldest son of the sitting regent,
a tradition going back all the way till the time when the Diems where the
leaders of the Deretha tribe back in Aduria.
Heirl Diem, the current Duke of Diemed, is known to be a honorable man
who still believes in the ancient laws of the Empire, and it is said that he
always behaves like a true noble man.
The heir to the Diem throne is Oeren Diem, the Dukes eldest son.
Oeren is said to be like his father in many ways, but maybe not as cunning
when it comes to strategies, but the Duke hope this will come with some experience.
Lady Lasica, the Dukes daughter, is said to have a beautiful appearance and an exquisite taste.
In the last few years she have had quite a few suitors, but so far no husband has been selected for Lasica.
