Experience:

I am experienced in both lighting and sound production, and have enjoyed working with both aspects of the production field. I pride myself on being a flexible team player, and I try to put the good of the team above my personal goals. Some of my experience is as follows.

I was the audio director and on the stage crew at Martin High School in Arlington, TX from 1990 to 1993. I also coordinated the presentation and removal of backdrops during stage productions.

Since 1990, I have been helping with lights such as Par 56/64s, Fresnels, Source Fours, Lekos, and also spotlights. During this time I have done lighting designs for choir musicals and dinner theaters, including focusing and choosing color gel layouts from Rosco and GamColor.

I have run sound for youth choirs, worship services, musicals and dinner theaters and have used sound consoles ranging from Yamaha, SoundCraft, Mackie and also Crest.

I have done sound and lights for musicals at Juanita K. Hammons Hall in Springfield, MO, as well as youth choirs and dinner theatres at the churches that I have attended.

I have been in the Media Ministry at Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO since 1993. I have dealt with video production, set-up and running sound and also running and focusing stage lights and spotlights. I mixed sound for the 1997 Dinner Theater Performances at Second Baptist Church, handling seven wirelesses for seven principle characters and two soloists.

In the Summer of 2000, I was named the lighting director for Sonshine Dance Academy.   This company is a Christian dance academy, that consists of ballet, jazz, tap, modern dance and tumpling for all ages.  Twice a year the academy puts on recitals and then every other year it is production year.  During the production year the performances are at different locations throughout the Springfield, MO area.

In February of 2000 I was named the lighting director for the Messiah Project, Inc. This company consists of ballet, vocals from the Messiah Chorale, Evangel College and First Baptist Springfield. We were also fortunate to have the talents of Larry Dalton, the Springfield Symphony, and the Polish Symphony.
