QUEEN VICTORIA
Queen Victoria was born on May 24, 1819. She was the daughter of Edward the Duke of Kent and Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. When she was only eight months old the Duke died. She married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha in 1840. This was a very happy marriage. They had four sons and five daughters.She was 81 years-old when she died on January 22,1901. She is the longest reigning monarch. Her reign was for63 years.
