THE PRINCE OF WALES
The Prince of Wales has been quoted as saying, that he doesn't see why a catholic should not ascend to the throne and that he would like to be known as the defender of faiths not just faith. This would overturn the Act of Settlement of 1701. These comments were made in private to Prime Minister Tony Blair and Paddy Ashdown five years ago. Mr. Blair was then leader of the opposition and Mr. Ashdown the Leader of the Liberal Democrats. Mr. Ashdown's diaries are being serialized in the London Times. I personally do not believe that Mr. Ashdown should have published anything that The Prince of Wales said privately. The Prince should be able to make comments in private without worrying that he will wake up in the morning and read about it in the newspaper or hear it on the television.

The British Monarch is the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and a Catholic could not become Queen or King until the church is disestablished.

This is my favorite picture of Father and Son.

The Duke of Rothesay received a kilt from during a visit to the Scottish Tartans Museum in Keith. It was an ancient Stuart Tartan. He toured the museum on October 17, 2000.
this is one of my favorite pictures

The Prince of Wales paid a visit to the London Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was one of Diana, The Princess of Wales favorite charities. The Prince paid tribute to Diana's charity work for the Lighthouse. He said, "That I am sure that she is very pleased that I am here today."

Well I am happy that HRH The Prince of Wales has finally married the woman that he has loved for so long. When you look at the pictures you can see how happy they are. I watched the Wedding VIA the internet on the BBC website. At least now he will be allowed to be happy and can hopefully be an even better king with her by his side. I couldn't help but think about his Great Uncle the Duke of Windsor who had to abdicate to be with the woman that he loved.
When I talk to so many people I've found myself in the minority when I say that he will make a good king.

Article about Prince Harry wanting to join the Army.
There was an article in the daily record saying that Diana, The Princess of Wales great-great-great uncle could be made a saint. Father Ignatius Spencer worked with the poor in Scotland and died in Carstairs, Lanarkshire, in 1864.
Rather interesting don't you think.

Articles about George Smith a former Royal Valet who accused the Prince of Wales of improper conduct. This man says one minute that the Prince acted improper and then he turns around and says he lied. Now if that doesn't tell the world that this man is either crazy like some have said or that he is just out trying to get money out of the prince or brief fame. Who knows what's in his crazy mind. Prince Charles meets Black Watch Troops before they go back to Iraq

UPDATED November 03, 2003
The Prince Of Wales has flown to India for an official nine-day tour of the country that will deal with heritage and restoration and you entrepreneurs. The trip will start in New Delhi. He will also atten a summit for young entrepreneurs and go and see a water conservation project.
He first visited India in 1975. It has been 11 years since his last visit to the nation.
Reports say that Prince Charles told his staff that they are not allowed to discuss the former butler Paul Burrell during his official trip to India.
Reports say that he emerged from his plan in New Delhi unsmiling and appearing tired. He even failed to wave to the local photographers at the airport. Friends believe that Burrell's revelations about Diana have plunged the Prince into his deepest depression since the Princess death in the car crash in 1997. The Prince has remained silent over Burrell even though his both sons have spoken out to condemn the butler's "cold and overt" betrayal.
The Prince is also upset over his former deputy private secretary Mark Bolland for describing him as a "weak man" in a newspaper article. An aide of prince Charles said: "He feels very let down by two people he trusted."
On a recent radio interview with Burrell the show ridiculed Burrell for his actions. One caller to the show said that Burrell should be beheaded for betraying Diana's trust.
I for one find it rather a shame that Mr. Burrell said over and over again to the public that he would never betray Diana's trust by doing like others and writing a book about her private life. He says that it is because of the way he has be treated by the royal family during his trial. Well, I for one would like to ask him what did he expect them to do? Am I the only one that has found it strange all this time that he had her personal possesions in the first place. To me he should have turned them over to Diana's sons. He also should have kept his word and kept his mouth shut about her and the rest of the family. I personally do not by any books of these sort because I do not intend to spend my hard earned money on supporting people like Mr. Burrell. If more people took this action then we wouldn't have these kinds of books on the market. After all would you want your mother to have to be raked over the coals year after year and she's dead and can't defend herself. The public should think of that before they buy these books. I rather agree with the woman caller who said, "OFF WITH HIS HEAD".
I found this great article at the telegraph site about Burrell and his book that I thought was very good and they voiced the same objections that I do. It is a very well written piece. Just click on the flashing light and it will take you there.
The links are articles about the Burrell book that I thought were interesting.
