The land is in District No. 7 7,200 acres for $ 250.00, near the Mountain, adjacent to conditional line between Joseph Ryan and Richard Taylor, made by Wm. Hayes and Joel Ryan to include half the spring under Rock near James Anderson's on top of Gellico Mountain, now called Jellico mountain, near the state line and a corner of Joseph Ryan's 100 acre Patented Survey. Witnessed by James Trammell and James Anderson in January 16,1882 Campbell sells the land to James Anderson for $ 250.00 . The deed is signed by Campbell and Melvina, both by mark. There is another deed transaction in Scott Co., TN (not copied) between Campbell and Melvina, and Charlotte King. This is possible the land about two doors away from James and Salley Anderson. The land was sold to Cam by James and Salley and then sold to Charlotte King. Campbell Anderson and Vina were listed in the 1880 census for Whitley Co., KY. Campbell is listed as "Camel" Anderson. Cam is listed as Campbell "R" in a deed record and in a transcribed copy of the census records he is listed as Camel "H" Anderson.
