Effective-Meaning: Objective-Time 1.a. Additional Development, Notes page 2 NOTE I. Even to reciprocate between life and death is a form of change. So if we state that insofar as something is alive it perceives, we can also state that insofar as something perceives it changes. It may be that a soul only perceives insofar as it is alive, yet it may still possess an immortal quality that does not change in relation to the world. So to the subjective-perceiver, knowledge is material. A Subjective person can have a knowledge of matter, but not a knowledge of material correspondence. In other words, absolute subjectivity involves no absolute correspondence of matter; a dead world. NOTE II. Because the Soul must Change: Either the Soul is dead to God, or the Soul has a quality of God. This could be the same as saying, the Soul is either dead, or it has the potential to become one with God. So there is Death, Potential Death, Potential Life, and Life itself. Life is then becoming acquainted with the greatest potential good. In this case we can define Life in terms of morals: the greatest good is when the soul lives longest relative to the good it can achieve. NOTE III: Since we know that either of these statements must describe the Objective World in order to serve as an adequate solution, we can make two further statements that should balance in all cases of Judgment: (Life-Death : Immortality-Change :: God-Time : Soul-World) = Objective World (Life-Death : Immortality-Change :: God-World: Soul-Time) = Objective World If we could find all the statements that apply to both cases we would have some parameters for when an Objective World is possible in the context of Subjective Perception. If there is no Objective-Perception, there is no Objective World. Since God is Objective-Perception, and we have defined all perception as Conscious andtherefore, livingall the cases in which there is a union between Subjective and Objective must maintain that there is an extant God, or an enduring quality of God. Therefore we will discard all cases in which a quality of God never existed, cases in which Godliness was not a quality of living things. Those are cases in which Death and God are on the same end of parallel axes. Now we have a few options that hopefully will allow us to coordinate a new and more telling diagram. Case1: Life = Immortality : Death = Change :: Soul = God : Time = World Case 2: Life = Change : Death = Immortality :: Soul = God : Time = World NEXT |
