Questions a writer asks in relation to any potential idea 1st. Positive or affirmative approach Major question: Is it so that it is so? Is it so that it is not so? a. Is it absolute--Is it pure, does it have power? b. Does its opposite exist--is it weak, is it doomed? 2nd Negative or rhetorical approach Major question: Is it not so that it is so? Is it not so that it is not so? a.Is it paradoxical--could I write about it? b. Does it have meaning--is it catalystic? 3rd Qualitative approach Major question: What is it? a. What is the "it" that can be measured--what was the first thought? b. What is the quality of that measurement--what are you afraid of? 4th Quantitative Major question: Can it be measured? How unique is it? a. What is its unique quality/ quantity? b. Give it a name and conquer the fear. 5th Excessory/ Entelechy Major question: How does it judge? How is it judged? a. Judge judgment, b. Experience experience. 6th Judgment Major question: In what way does it represent something else? a. What is its madness? b.
