I Ain't No PerfectionI am not a perfectionest. Oh dear, spell that right! I am not a perfectionist. Or should that line read “I have never been a perfectionist”? No, the first is better. Maybe I’ll ask for another opinion… Or two, or three. They like the second one better. But how do they know? “I am not a perfectionist”? “I have never been a perfectionist”? Okay, I have it! I am not a perfectionist. Or…No! That’s it, that’s the line. Isn’t it? Enough with that line, I’ll finish it later. What was I thinking with that title? “Perfectionist Poem.” It stinks. How did I come up with that? “Perfectionist Poem.” Sounds like it was written by a three year old. How about “Od to the Perfectionist?” If I spell “Ode” right. “Ode to the Perfectionist.” Hm… I’ve had enough of this poem. “I am not a perfectionist.” “I have never been a perfectionist.” “Perfectionist Poem.” “Ode to the Perfectionist.” I no longer care. I’ll call the poem “I Ain’t No Perfection” and see what happens from there. |
