| The Euchre Rat Surprise: Once upon a time, before I regained my addiction to backgammon, I was in the Wicked 4 Life Euchre League in Pogo. It happened that in the Spring of 2006, they were having a "Live" tournament in Columbus, Ohio. League members were coming from all over the country (and even one from Australia) to meet and play euchre in the real world. Well, the rat, being the boring shy type that I am decided to join the event, unannounced or expected. It seemed that I must make an appearance in "full rat fashion". Thus, I prepared a rat costume. I obtained a mask, and a German spike helmet (I was known as 'helmet rat' in that league), and of course a suitable tail. I then embarked on the one hour drive to Columbus. Feeling that just walking in would lack drama, I entered on a pink little girls bike. I had worn a fannie pack filled w cheese bars and little rubber rats. I rode through the room of about 40 people tossing cheese and rats to all. The people were screaming...."OMG, it's the rat". Then, just when they thought I was finished.....I proceed to get off the bike, climb up on one of the tables, and squatted, ....little rat poopies began to fall (chocolate covered raisens of course). |

It may come as a surprise, but Rat really likes Halloween. He dons his alter ego....Delilah da Rat (I must give credit to a comedy routine I saw 30 years ago by Breck Wall in Lake Tahoe who did a charachter called Delilah DeBris for inspiring this routine.) One thing to note: Delilah is rather errr... well endowed. I must tell you, I have never lost a costume contest with this costume, but I have been disqualified on the grounds of 'being a full blown performance'. When the judging begins....soe does Delilah's music....The Stripper...of course. A strange mood overcomes Delilah initiated by the compelling music and her 'exotic' instincts and performance begins..... Alas, I think rather than continue the story, I'll let the photos speak for themselves........ |

| Best of all, the whole thing was broadcast on a web camera back to the league members that were unable to attend. The IM's were flying to unmask the rat.............. Just a shy old rat....... |
