"wake me up, now you're gone, shout out and sing this song"

After forming the band from scratch in January 2004 they set out to capture the feelings of the current teenage mind through passionate vocals and melodic guitar lines.

Early 2004 saw the youngsters practice their little hearts off at a local practice studio and piece together a set of covers and their own original material.
This set them up for their first gig two months after forming.

By the end of 2004, and a with a fair few gigs under their belt, they had developed their unique style of Pop-Rock-Punk.

Early 2005 saw the band reach out into the mainstream and play The Bivouac Club, Lincoln. The Kaiser Chiefs, Biffy Clyro, The Killer's and 22-20's have all played there.

By late 2005 they had completed a year of none stop gigs, perfected their set and recorded two live EP's; 'A Drive By At The Duke' and 'Drive By Theory' These were recorded with Steve Hawkins (Catapult, My Deaf Audio). The 'Drive By Theory' EP was given out free by the band in early 2006 as a thank you to their fans for their support.

Now with a Cardiff tour under their belts, a studio EP completed and a support slot to the mighty Captain Everything in August things are looking better than ever for drive-by-theory.
