Introduction to
Beyblade
Beyblade is a game in which two high performance tops are pitted against each other for battle in a specialized arena, or
stadium. The first beyblade to either force the opponent to stop spinning
or knock it out of the stadium is proclaimed the winner. Beyblades are more powerful than you would expect, spinning at a higher RPM throughout the battle.
Each series of beyblades created introduces new elements to the game, whether
it's a complex gimmick or a new type of part. Most every beyblade has a special
function, or gimmick as it's called; like a jumping or mode change gimmick. There are four main types of beyblades: attack, defense, endurance, and balance. Attackers roam the stadium at high speeds, possibly going out of control at times, but
almost always have low endurance. Defense blades attempt to hold their ground in
the stadium and eventually out-spin attackers. Endurance beyblades rarely move. They spin for long periods of time but are vulnerable to attacks. A balancer will key in two main areas such as a common defense/endurance combo.
Each type has type has its pros and cons, so none are superior to all. You can also customize your beyblades to fit your liking. This can help you get an even more powerful beyblade than you can get right out of the box. Customizing is harder than you would think, as you can't just throw your favorite parts together and have the ultimate blade. The customizations need to
work together, all of which is explained further in the strategy guide. I would hope by now that you can realize that beyblade is a more complex game than you would think. It contains many different aspects of strategy, but a lot can be found about the game on this website. Start exploring!
