MA-01 Dragoon MSUV
Contents: Dragoon MS UV Beyblade, Customize Case, Dual Shooter, G Winder
Official Stats:
AR: attack-4.5, defense-2.5, endurance-1
WD: attack-1, defense-1, endurance-3
RC: attack-4, defense-1, endurance-.5
Type: Attack
Bit Protector: First
Mold; Dragoon Emblem/Dragoon Bit
Attack Ring: Ultimate attacker (14 grams)
Left Spin Usage: This AR, hands down, is made for left spin. While most
HMS ARs have uses in both spin directions, this one doesn't. The metal
hammers on the spikes have been reinforced to include small notches that
increase smash attack. The ABS Caul of Dragoon MS UV is identical to
Dragoon MS. This AR should not be used on any type other than attack
blades.
Right Spin Usage: This AR focuses on smash attack in right spin. The metal
frame has been reinforced from Dragoon MS to have more smash, but it doesn't
help out to much. There are better choices than this AR for right spin
smash.
Overall: This AR is very powerful in left spin, but weak in right spin.
The improved metal frame gives this blade a strong attack even with low RPM,
which is necessary for attack types. This AR isn't used much in
customization because of it's limited abilities, but it shouldn't be
underestimated.
Weight Disk: Circle Wide (14 grams)
This weight disk is easily the best choice for this blade. It's light weight
design helps this blade maintain high speeds, as well as good balance.
Circle Wide doesn't put as much pressure on the RC as other WDs do, which lets
the blade have more endurance.
Running Core: Grip Flat Core (Ultimate Mode) (2 grams)
This running core has the same height and general shape of Grip Flat Core,
but Ultimate Mode has a much wider tip. It weighs one gram more than Grip Flat
Core. This RC can reach the highest movement
speed of any previous beyblade. The wide, rubber tip has very low endurance. It
is necessary that blades using this RC make early contact with the
opponent. This part
is a must have if you are making attack type customizations. Grip Flat
Core Ultimate Mode is the fastest RC available, with it's speed only being
compared to MW Grip Flat Core of Dragoon MF.

Overall: 8/10
You have to love this beyblade. It has easily achieved speed, but it can be
hard to control in some instances. You need to train with it to use it properly.
Dragoon MS UV has very low endurance like mostly all attackers, but this has the
worst. The tip is wide and made of soft rubber, so it has a very low RPM. What
amazes me the most is how this blade can still have a high enough smash attack
to outlast blades when its endurance is low. You never know who will win when
the battle is down to who has more endurance because this blade can dish out a
surprisingly powerful smash anytime.
Battle Synopsis: All tests done in the Tornado Balance Stadium
This beyblade really shines in the first few seconds of battle. It is a key
that this blade make contact with the opponent fast to punch some of the
endurance out of them, or get a KO. It is easy to make contact with a good shot
because of the immense speed you are getting. In any stadiums other than ones
without a tornado ridge this beyblade will be hard to control. This blade relies
on the ridge or another slope to obtain its high movement speeds, so you won't
get much out of it in current Hasbro stadiums. People looking for good attack
type parts will love this one.
