| Come to a meeting and meet other providers and parents. Share common discussion on behaviour, schedules, themes, crafts, contract ideas, Ages and Stages. Share in resources with fellow providers. This is a fabulous group of providers who help take away some of the isolation you can sometimes feel in the child care business. Make some new friends and come when you can. Members range from 15+ yrs experience in childcare, to parents trying to enrich a current daily routine and introduce preschool activities. You'll always find our meetings informative with support from all of us! Meetings are the last Thursday of each month and start at 7:30 PM. Occasionally, when there is a guest speaker we start earlier. Meetings are held at: 230 Westney Road South Ajax, Ontario L1S 7J5 in the Ontario Early Years Centre. | THE CHILDCARE PROVIDER
Although I'm not their mother, I care for them each day. I cuddle, sing and read to them, And watch them as they play. I see each new accomplishment, and help them grow and learn, I understand their language, and I listen with concern. They come to me for comfort, And I kiss away their tears. They proudly show their work to me. I give the loudest cheer! No, I am not their mother, But my role is just as strong. I nurture them and keep them safe. Though maybe not for long. I know someday the time may come, When we will have to part, But I know each child I've cared for Is forever in my HEART! |
