I spent the "wonder years" growing up near the Jersey Shore, in a town that is no more (New Shrewsbury) between Lincroft and Tinton Falls... near Red Bank in Monmouth County. As a youth I took art lessons from Mr. Geza DeVay who owned "The Olde Mill" in Tinton Falls. I also loved going into New York City to the MoMA, Metropolitan, Whitney and Guggenheim museums, SoHo galleries, and shopping on Fifth Avenue with my Grandmother Orr. Whenever I go back to NJ, I still like to take the train into "The City" and visit the museums and SoHo galleries, but now I also love going to "Puglia's" in "Little Italy" for the house wine, steamed Calamari and music on Friday afternoons, then on to the East Village and Greenwich Village to the old record stores to look for mint condition 60's records for my vinyl album collection or photos of Ms. Bettie Page.
I attended Monmouth Regional High School, but moved to Oklahoma early in my Freshman year (1967).
I've worn a lot of different hats professionally speaking, from blue collar to white collar, i.e. - carpenter, factory worker, machinist, Porsche+Audi mechanic, oilfield roughneck - chef's assistant, waiter, Maitre d' - advertising Account Executive, NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) Broker, Petroleum Landman, photographer, custom photo lab Manager (Photo/Flash) for my Mom after my Father had a stroke. I worked from 1996 until 2003 as a scenic artist for Jim French Design, building and painting flats and canvas drops for stage, TV commercials, movie sets and trade show conventions. With help from Jim French, Charlie Alsip, and Jack Rogers, I became a freelance Grip and TelePrompter Operator for local film/video production companies and worked on my first independent film, The Round and Round, in July 2001 in which I was assistant to the Art Director (Jim French) as Set Decorator and Prop Master.
Four years ago, immediately after my friend, Bo Bovaird passed away, I decided to move from Tulsa to Oklahoma City to persue a career as a Petroleum Landman (again). I miss you every day Bo.
A lovely friend I met online, Shelly Kay, was instrumental in finding me work as a landman. Over time, I fell in love with Shelly. Shelly is now my fiance and we are getting married this summer. Please visit our web site http://www.shellyandandrew.com for more information about us, our engagement and wedding plans.
I have an A+ certification for computers and I am studying for N+, and CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) certificates.
I know this site is not "slick" by professional web building standards and many of the pages take too long to load because of all the extraneous content contained herein. This is only meant to be a fun web site about me.
Below are some hyperlinks to humorous photos from my somewhat checkered past.
I worked in the "oil patch" in my early twenties... I also played in the oil patch sometimes too.
I ride DUCATI motorcycles.
Here is a B&W pic of me and my first DUCATI 750 Sport taken in front of the Boston Ave. Market in 1978 by my friend Pete Silva's girlfriend Dana. Pete recently found a roll of film dated 1978 in a drawer and had it processed. So this is the first time anyone has seen this picture since it was taken. Thanks Pete!!!
My meeting with Ing. Fabio Taglioni (the designer of my Ducati motorcycle) at Daytona Speedway.
When I was 41 I let my hair grow for a couple of years without cutting it. When I was a teenager in the turbulent 60's I promised myself that when I was 40 I would grow my hair out 'because I could', so I did. However after two years, I decided to have my hair cut. Hard to believe both of theseB&W pix were taken on the same day, but they were!
Dick Dale and me at the 'IKON'.
A photo I took of Stevie Ray Vaughn in his tour bus at Mohawk Park, Tulsa, OK and one of Carlos Santana on stage at The Brady Theatre in Tulsa, OK.
Action pix of Pete Townshend with 'The Who' at the Myriad Coliseum, Oklahoma City, OK March 1976.
A couple of
"pals" with me at LAX.
A picture of me from my very brief stint with Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus.
A view of beautiful downtown Tulsa and my
old favorite automobile... and my new favorite automobile on a Kansas highway.

The Johari Window was invented by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham in the 1950s as a model for mapping personality awareness. By describing yourself from a fixed list of adjectives, then asking your friends and colleagues to describe you from the same list, a grid of overlap and difference can be built up.
My Johari Window
