| One Dollar 4 quarters 10 dimes 100 tiny bronze pennies in a clutched palm. How ever you look, it stills equals the same Yet just enough to bring that delighted laugh Just enough to have those pure tears brought to the cliffs edge Just enough to buy that little bear sitting in the window Enough to buy that promise I made so long ago One dollar Simplicity hidden within a maze of choices 4 quarters So much worth in something so frail 10 dimes So easily lost within our rushed world 100 tiny bronze pennies Yet just enough to buy you eternity. |
