| Zack Felix Zack Felix is a mercenary in the kingdom of Drakonia. His selfless nature and strong sense of justice led him to become a mercenary, a sort of knight for hire, so that he could help people in need without getting permission from a superior. His adventures take him all across the kingdom, protecting it from evil and helping his fellow man. As he battles the forces of darkness, he will become first a hero, then a savior, then a legend, as he brings hope to the hopeless and light to those trapped in darkness. The king is a fair and benevolent ruler, and although the kingdom has seen better times, he does all he can to make life as easy as possible for his subjects. Warnos Warnos is a merchant in the city of Delnor, and Zack's adopted father. Zack never knew his real father, as Warnos has raised him since birth. A fair and honest man, he raised Zack to honor the ruling family and respect all men, and to always uphold justice. Ipsen Beauregard The best mercenary in the kingdom, Ipsen never took on apprentices. Never, that is, until Zack came along. He said it was Zack's "vast untapped potential" that made him do it, but for whatever reason, the fact remains that he trained Zack to be a great mercenary. He died at the hands of royal kidnappers, who Zack later defeated. Valas The general of the Drakonian army and Captain of the Castle Guard, Valas is a huge soldier who has supposedly never lost a battle. A hardened veteran of countless battles, he is entrusted with not only the security of the kingdom, but of the royal family itself. King Eridel King of the Stoic Elves, who live in forests all over Drakonia, his capital is the Conclave located in the center of the Malendorg Forest. A wise king, he rules the Elves by respect rather than force. Lily Lily is an Elven healer, who lost her one true love when he died in battle to protect her. She blames herself for his death, because she was not able to heal his wounds in time. She has given up her calling to study the craft of the swordsmiths, in hopes that she can devise a way to impart healing magic into a weapon, so that a warrior could call upon this magic in the heat of battle if a healer cannot be found. King Thorin Thorin is the king of the Dwarves, and rules his proud people from the underground city of Steinherz. Standing five feet tall and two hundred pounds, he is a giant among the dwarves, but his intimidating appearance belies a warm, compassionate heart. Just don't cross him, or his fiery Dwarven passion will consume you like a blazing inferno. Princess Alexia Alexia is the daughter of King Wilfred and Queen Mallory, and is the heir to the throne of Drakonia. She once had an older brother, Alfred, but he gave up his birthright to pursue a life of crime. She tries very hard to do everything in her power to help her people, and her strong, charismatic personality will help her to be a good leader someday, but secretly she is unsure if she is up to the daunting task of ruling a kingdom someday. Captain Isaak Isaak is a captain in the Drakonian army, which makes him second in command to General Valas himself. A very somber,, career-oriented young man, he is serious to a fault, and never wavers in his duty. His fiery red hair, which gives off an air of burning passion, clashes with his cool, levelheaded sensibility. He would do anything for his king and his country, even if it meant sacrificing himself for the greater good. Alexander Felix Zack only met his birth father once, for a brief moment right before the man died. Having lived a life on the run from men who want him dead, Alexander had to entrust Zack's upbringing to his good friend, Warnos. Just before he died, he entrusted Zack with his sword, a family heirloom and the reason his pursuers wanted him dead. He was a good man, and always did what he felt was right, even at his own expense. Gwendolyn Beckinshire Gwendolyn was the daughter of a wealthy noble family in the Northern Barony before she met Alexander Felix. But something about the nomadic drifter captured her heart, and she fell madly in love with the man. She loved him so much that she gave up her nobility to live the life of a fugitive, just so she could be by his side. She died giving birth to Zack. Miranda Miranda was Warnos's wife, and Zack's adopted mother. Even though he was not of her flesh and blood, she loved Zack like he was her own. She died when Zack was five, when a hungry werewolf broke into their home and tried to make a meal out of Zack. She gave her life to protect him from harm. Because of this, Zack has developed a deep-seated hatred for all wolves and werewolves. John John is a blacksmith in the village of Dun. He was once in the army, and served under General Eli, who was the general before the current general, Valas. While in the army, John was the Chief Master of Arms, which meant he was trained in the use of all kinds of weaponry, and supplied the weapons and the training for the army. He was also a member of an elite Special Forces brigade that carried out secret missions to protect the kingdom. Merris Merris is a beautiful young woman who protects the village of Dun from vampire attacks. Very strong-willed and cold, she relies on nobody but herself, and hates the negative stereotypes associated with women. Vincent Bloodglade Vincent is the leader of the vampire clan in Drakonia. He is a true vampire, which means he was bitten by Count Dracula himself. This is in comparison to common vampires, who are bitten by either true vampires or other common vampires. True vampires are stronger, and according to legend, must be killed in three different ways simultaneously. Morgan Stohrie Morgan was once the oldest daughter of a family of nobles living just outside of Dun. But her selfish obsession with her own beauty led her to sacrifice her family to the vampires in exchange for becoming one of them, so her beauty would last forever. She is so cold and heartless, she is feared even among other vampires. |
