6-4-06 This isn't really something new, but since my old site got "misplaced" by Yahoo! Geocities, I'm going to pretend this is new, because technically it is new for this website. Here you can find the
Chronicles of Drakonia, my anthology of short stories centered around the adventures of Zack Felix, a young mercenary coming into his own in the troubled kingdom of Drakonia. If you like dragons, vampires, elves, monsters, etc., then read these exciting stories. They're awesome. Click here for more information!

8-16-04 Thank God! FREE AT LAST! Finally, I have come into the promised land! COLLEGE! No parents, no siblings, no responsibility, and few rules! I've been waiting eighteen long years for this moment, and now it has finally arrived. I am currently a freshman at University of Missouri - Rolla, where as of right now I am in a dorm double with no roommate yet, he hasn't shown up yet Anyway, college is great. My earliest class is 11 am, so I can sleep until like 10:50 every day, and be done by 3 pm. Plus there are alot of nerds on campus, so I have a major advantage in hte social scene. In comparison, I am in like the upper eschelon of the school since the majority spend their freetime reading the dictionary or polishing their pet rock. I am really enjoying the lack of responsibility, too. I have been like a third parent to my six younger brothers and sisters for so long that now I finally get to live my childhood. I spend most nights staying up late online, so if you ever need somebody to talk to at like 1:00 in the morning, just email me; my email is under the Contact Us tab.

5-21-04 This edition of My Opinion is on none other than the word "SKEET!." This word was used very liberally at my former high school, St. Louis U. High, aka SLUH, the Harvard of St. Louis high schools. Some people have questioned whether it is used properly, or if it is even a word, so I decided to do an investigation. The word means "1. A rifle game in which inanimate clay objects are hurled in the air and shot down. 2. A long-handled broom for scrubbing the sides of ships." These aren't the actual definitions, but my paraphrases of them. Obviously, neither of these definitions apply to the way in which it is used in popular culture today. So what could it possibly mean? For the answer, I shall analyze the highly popular skit  "Skeetman," put on by my fellow seniors at this year's Senior Follies (a series of skits put on by the seniors at the end of the year to celebrate their last four years). In "Skeetman," two "preppies" are standing around having a conversation, using the s-bomb almost every other word. By doing so, they summon Skeetman, "Defender of all things sweet and destroyer of all things skeet." He joins in their revelry until his archnemesis, Dictionario appears. Dictionario defines skeet in a way similar to the definitions I gave above, which kill Skeetman, since it is not a real word. But the "preppies" define skeet by calling his death "skeet." Skeetman comes back to life, and Dictionario runs off, finally realizing that "logic and coherance have no place in modern society." So what is skeet, you ask? Skeet can best be defined as the opposite of sweet, something that is bogus or not cool, or unfair. It is a negative term, which can be applied to almost any situation. I personally see no problem using it in common speech, so feel free to do so. If you don't, then you are skeet!

1-27-04 Yeah, I know. I haven't done one in a while. But since my best friend Jess asked me to, that's what I'm doing. This time its on
PRO LIFE MARCH IN WASHINGTON D.C. I have gone to the annual Pro Life March in Washington, D.C. the last two years, and both times it was a very rewarding experience. I am very pro-life, and i believe that "humanness" or "humanhood" or whatever begins at conception. Every life is precious, and nobody has the right to take away that life, not even the mother, for any reason, except if the mother's life is in serious danger. All this bull**** about "I can't afford it," "It will disrupt my busy schedule," etc. is CRAP. One word, ladies: ADOPTION. Abortion is murder, and anybody who gets one, or helps somebody get one, is guilty of murder and should face the consequences. Just carry it full term, then give it up for adoption. If you are embarrassed about being pregnant, that's your own fault; you shouldn't have been fooling around. Even if its a serious case, like rape or incest, still carry it full term and give ti up for adoption. Even these babies deserve the right to live. If anybody wants to continue thsi discussion with me, or wants to talk about anything even remotely related, my email is [email protected], and my AIM SN is hiddenhero1027, but let me know what its about if you IM me; i get alot if spam IMs.

8-21-03   The subject this time:
BOOGEYBOARDING. I go boogeyboarding (did I spell that right?) every summer when my family goes on vacation to Gulf Shores, AL. I am by no means a great boogeyboarder, but I am good enough to stay on the board no matter the size of the wave, and I have tons of fun riding each and every decent wave right to shore. At least, I'm pretty sure thaat's what you are supposed to do. Everybody at the beach has boogeyboards, but the other 99% of people use them as rafts. Where's the fun in that? Am I the only one who really knows how to boogeyboard? Or is the world populated by people who are either too lazy or too scared to venture out into the big waves? Somebody please email me and let me know if they agree with me, or if I'm just insane.

7-14-03 My Opinion is something new I'm trying, where whenever I come up with something I feel needs to be said, or I want to say, I'll put it here in My Opinion. For the first time around, I'm going to give my review of
Pirates of the Carribean: the Curse of the Black Pearl. I saw it the other day, and since it was a Disney movie, I wasn't expecting much. But I was blown out of the water by Pirates of the Carribean (no pun intended). It was an awesome movie, the acting was superb, especially Johnny Depp, and the special effects were spectacular-wait until you see the swashbuckling swordfight between Johnny Depp and Geofferey Rush. So if you haven't seen Pirates of the Carribean yet, go see it right now! Sniper2000's rating: three thumbs up and six stars. It was the best movie I've seen in a long time.
