As I'm sure that anyone who has watched the Dragon Strike video knows, a Cleric makes an appearance towards the beginning and near the end of the tape. I don't really see why they placed a Cleric in the video if they didn't have some sort of plan to make use of one in the game. Maybe they had plans to add him in a later expansion or something. It's probably the most obvious character class that Dragon Strike seems to be missing. Fortunately, it wasn't all that difficult to come up with some rule variations that allows a player to choose a Cleric as their hero. I used some of my prior knowledge of the basic D&D rules that uses Clerics and also viewed the video clips where the Cleric appears and came up with what seems to be a pretty playable Cleric.

There are quite a few ways that you can choose to add the Cleric to the game, but the easiest is to write down (or print from this site) his statistics information and then use them in conjunction with the game. For a playing piece, you can use anything you like that fits the spaces on the game board, but the easiest thing to do is to use the extra Thief playing piece not in use by another player. If you'd like, you can even use the character card of your spare theif to keep track of life. It's up to you how you choose to do it.

The Cleric can add a good helping hand to an adventuring party by using his spcecial healing ability. He isn't terribly strong like the Warrior, doesn't use the same type (or quantity) of Magic as the Wizard and Elf, and has a special ability nobody else has. So, I think he makes a nice little addition to pretty much any Dragon Strike adventure and from my experience so far, he doesn't unbalance play either. Almost any Dragon Master wanting to spice up his game should make this character available to his players. Look over the links below for all of the information about the Cleric hero you'll need to add him to your games.
