Back to Previous Journal Page it's been days since i've worked on this site and i had some ideas about working on it toay, but it looks like i'll have to wait until tomorrow..we're at that time of day where we get "bumped off" the internet a lot...sometimes every five minutes! Yuk...oh well, at least i accomplished the corrections and such with the other important site i'm working with for The 2000 John Lennon Collection...The Yellow Submarine Chariry Drive for The National Center for The Victims of Crime. It's a pretty cool thing that evolved very organizally from one of my favborite yahoo!clubs, scotty's yellow submarine...but instead of wasting time telling you about it, if you want to know more, just click on those links, okay? in other news, things are going alright here...work is still work and that'll never change. everyday i give thanks that i have a little a bit of talent, some motivation and ambition and the opportunity to use these creative skills; otherwise i might be feeling really trapped at that fucking j.o.b.! kelly and the kids are doing great. everybody is healthy and happy and all that...we're doing good as a family unit and i can't really complain. i miss cassidy an awfully lot. i talked to him the other night, and though he sounded content and into his new apartment...i swear i could hear the longing and sadness in voice too. i really need to have him here, with me...we really need each other. only a few more years, i tell myself, only a few more years and he'll come live with us for awhile...i can hardly wait! i'm about ready to try and quit smoking...again. this will be the third serious attempt i've made...let's hope three times is a charm! charlie griggs has changed the name of his band yet again (one of things i wanted to change in this webupdate)...it started off as "Thrice" went to "Entropy" then to "Nervosa" and last night he told me it's now "Livid!"...what will they think of next? i guess Livid is okay...better than thrice, that's for sure...probably not as popular as entropy or nervosa, but then again, it's not as good of a name now, is it? what do you think? here, vote for for the name of charlie's band...Livid or Nervosa or suggest a name of your own! well, i need to go...today's goals are to set in motion the publicity campaign i have planned for the charity drive, get me beard trimmed, be at a meeting at work around 3pm and tonight, go to bed early! until next time... |

Here i am at work...i'm the only one at work too and even at that, i'm hardly working at all...i'm simply playing on these websites! my entire telemarketing team is out tonight, it being holloweeeeeen and all...kind of pisses me off, but what the fuck, right? i've been busy working on the john lennon site and taking care of other charity oriented business...i need to finish up this press kit i'm planning and get to work on getting the word out. i have a call into my friend carrie at cnn and ira up at wbez/npr chicago...but i need to make a big splash with it, if it's going to for me what i hope it will...namely; get me some ATTENTION and RECOGNITION!!! well, kelly is out with the kiddies, doing the halloween things...they should be here in about an hour to fetch me. i'm going to bed early tonight, i don't feel great. oh...something else kind of interesting; i met this lady on-line named jackie...she lives with her son, dusty and her botfirend, brian in lousiana...she is very nice and we hit it off famously! a kindered spirits kind of connection, at least, for me it was...she has an on-line yahoo!club called rock and roll haven and i'm looking for ward to knowing her mo'better! well, kelly and the kids are early...so i shall have to go now! until next time!
