On our way up to the Vernal Falls, we passed by a bridge where this little furry fellow was looking for treats. Oh it is so CUTE!!!

After making it up MIST TRAIL past the base of the falls, we can enjoy this close up view of Vernal Falls, but only after being completely soaked from all the mist. The trail was pretty treacherous since all the rocks were wet and to the left nothing prevented you from falling off the trail into the swift river current. We are proud to say, "We survived the Mist Trail".
We have all made it to the top of Vernal Falls and are about risk our lives for an even closer view of the falls. Actually it wasn't so dangerous, but it sure was fun.
Perched up at the top of Vernal Falls, the gang just relaxes and soak up the rays. Jenie on the other hand is playing the Ostrich.
Ready to go further up to the Nevada Falls...but as it turns out...the group got to tired and so we didn't actually go.
