News from Oak Park Lodge: No suites are currently available at Oak Park Lodge. Thank you to Stonewall & District Health Foundation Inc. for the $5,000.00 donation to the Oak Park Lodge Inc. at Woodlands, MB. The donation was used for the new windows which were installed at the beginning of March. Thanks to Wayne & Julie Allary for the following update. I would like to send out a great big �Congratulations� to the Warren Jr. Mercs Novice South team. They won the Interlake Banner and then went on to play for the Regional Banner against Arborg. They won the first game 5-4 at home and then went to Arborg and played a very tough second game, which they ended up winning 4-3 in overtime. Congratulations on your second year of bringing home both the Interlake and the Regional Banner. Team members are Bryce Allary, Jayden Allary, Kylie Bond, Alex Chester, Corbin Fairlie, Matthew Fossay, Whyatt Hagen, Trey King, Nicholas Prystupa, Jordan Schott & Deaken Smith. Hard-working coaches were Wayne Allary and Bryan Fossay. Thanks to family and friends for all of your fan support throughout the year. Thanks to Lea Allary for the report that South Interlake 4-H held their Communication Event recently in Teulon. Warren sent 5 participants who had earned a spot at the Zone Event in February. Stephanie Bremner, Sarah Birtch and Courtney Friesen all participated. Courtney and Jared Allary won their Two-Person Intermediate Visual event and are going on to Provincials in Winnipeg in April. Great job everyone. The Stonewall Health Centre Ladies� Auxiliary will be holding their annual Book Sale on May 21-23. Books can be dropped of at Rosewood Lodge; for pick-up, please call Carol at 467-8563, Marg at 467-8732, or Dorothy at 467-2674. Proceeds from the sale go toward enhancing Rosewood and the hospital. Recently a leather recliner was purchased for the Palliative Care Room at the hospital.
