York Habitat for Humanity Announces:

 “Inaugural York Habitat for Humanity 5K Run/Walk Presented by Northwest Savings Bank”

Participants will gather to raise awareness and funds to support our Dover Building Project

York Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce our Inaugural 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser Presented by Northwest Savings Bank on Saturday, June 19^th at 8:00AM. During this event, participants from all over the area will gather to raise funds and awareness about our upcoming Dover Project. Beginning on Charles Lane in Dover, adjacent to our building site, participants will travel 1.6 miles out and back on Butter Road. All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt, and the top three finishers in each category will receive a prize. The starting and finish point is future Spring Valley Manor II, a sixteen home community of decent and affordable homes for deserving families in need. Construction of the first three homes will be complete during a four week “Build-A-Thon”, which begins on July 26^th,2004.
