In this documentary, Jamie
plays the main character,
Stevie Simmons. Simmons
is a foul mouthed,
ill-educated young man,
who lacks any real direction
in his life. The show's host, Max Bon Summers, is played by Chris Stephen and Stevie is also joined by his best friend Dougie Wilson, played by Alan Smith, and his ex-girlfriend Tracy, Drug-dealer Stukie, his dad Fishy Bogal, and a strange little man called Keithy, all played by Jamie.
The film shows the goings on in Stevie life over the course of a week, including his birthday party, his best friend doing the dirty with his ex, creating his own film entitled Robojesus, getting run over, his brother threatening to kick him out & a whole lot more.
We filmed this at Chris's house starting a couple of years back. Before that we had done odd bits and pieces but this was the first time we decided to go the whole hog with it. We were a tad ambitious at 8 episodes, and technical issues in post production made finishing it hard, but luckily it all came together, and the screening we held for it was a success.
Stevie has proven quite popular so perhaps we will do more with him in the future.
