Volcanoes cannot be prevented. The power of nature cannot be dealt with directly. However, it does not mean that we should sit back and see lives being lost as a result of an eruption.

So, we have come up with ways on how to prevent the loss of lives through eruptions, preparing people for it.

Firstly, countries that are consistently persisted with the problem of eruptions of volcanoes can educated their citizens through talks and even the media.

They can organise talks and create short commercial in which the message can be passed thorugh the media that educate the people on what should be done when an eruption is expected. Gearing them to know what to do should there be an event of emergency.

Secondly, the government can create mock exercises of volcano eruptions to test the vigilence and level of preparations the people have when they are faced with such situation. This will also allow people to know what to expect should such event really happen.

Thirdly, governments of such countries can come up with a warning system that will make sure people living within a certain radius of a volcano that is about to erupt to get the news. Following, steps should be taken to move the people to safe grounds. These evactuation plans should be planned in advance and tested.
