Congradulation to the Philadelphia 76ers as they battled their hearts out to finish the Eastern Conference Champions this year, and the runner up to the Los Angeles Lakers for the Championship. Allen Iverson took a licking but kept ticking to continually carry his team. The regular season MVP fought hard but the Lakers were just to good!
It official. They have now become the NBA Champions for a second straight year. Now that Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal have set aside their differences, they appear to be the odds on favorite to win the championship each and every year for a long time to come. Shaq was dominant, while Kobe was big and fast, and was no match for the small guard setup of the undermanned and injured 76ers.
